BULA

BULA was born as a tribute to heritage, memory, and identity.

Rooted in the lands of Santander, Colombia (the cradle of the Guane culture) our story is one of reconnection. After years of research and reflection, BULA emerges as a bridge between the past and the present.

We honour the spirit of the Guane by weaving their legacy into sensorial rituals that speak to the soul.

 

The Guane were an indigenous community known for their connection to the land, their artistry, and their deep understanding of the natural world. Though much of their story was silenced by colonisation, their legacy lives on in the patterns they carved, the scents of their homeland, and the resilience of their descendants. BULA was created to revive that legacy, not just to remember it, but to feel it, hold it, and carry it forward.

 

Each piece we create from our fragrances to our visual identity is shaped by this history and guided by intention.
